1. Make up remover
Beauty Formulas Micellar Cleansing Water
- Remove all impurities using a make up remover.
2. Facial wash or scrub
Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser
- Remove the excess makeup or other impurities such as accumulated oil in your pores using a facial wash or scrub
3. Cleansing toner
Loreal Hydrafresh Toner
- Remove any other remaining seated dirt (we want to make sure our face is squeaky clean before we proceed!) using a cleansing toner.
4. PH Balancing toner
Etude House Soon Jung pH 5.5 Relief Toner
- Use a balancing toner to prep the face for the next steps. This is to balance the pH level so the succeeding products will be fully absorbed by the skin and will work its full effect. Unlike the makeup remover and cleansing toner, I put the PH balancing toner on my palm, rub it a little bit for some warmth and them apply it to my face in a patting motion.
5. Actives
Maxipeel Zero Micro Exfoliating Fluid
- I only use this whenever my hormonal acne comes out or if I'm having breakouts and my skin feels like it needs some peeling. This product has active ingredients that will make my skin shed and regenerate. I use this at most once a week, but if I don't see the necessity to use it, I skip this step.
6. Ampoule or Serum
It's Skin Power 10 Formula VC Effector with Vitamin C Derivatives
- This is a concentrated formula containing active ingredients to boost up the regeneration of my skin especially if when I'm having a bad skin crisis. There are different types of ampoule or serum but for me I use the vitamin C from It's Skin.
7. Essence or Emulsion
Centellian 24+ Madeca Derma Cream
- This is less concentrated than an ampoule and have a lightweight consistency. I use this to add another level of hydration to my skin and also as a treatment and preventive measure for acne. I have read so many good reviews about Madeca Derma especially around last year when Filipino youtubers are raving about it. So far I haven't seen any drastic changes but I guess it does help in preventing acne.
8. Eye cream
Celeteque DermoScience+ Brightening Eye Tuck plus Dark Circles Lightener
- Spending the entire day working and facing the computer or mobile phone can get your eyes puffy and add those dark circles. I am not an exception to this! I have *very* dark circles and I use this to at least put some light in there!
9. Sheet masks
Various // Etude House Skin Firming Collagen
- Now to seal everything off, I use a refrigerated sheet mask. It gives a more relaxing feeling when it's cold, straight out from the fridge. The main purpose of this is to nourish the skin and to seal off everything I've applied. I wait for it to dry completely after 20-30mins.
10. Sleeping pack
Etude House Moistfull Collagen Sleeping Pack
- Sometimes I skip this but this is an overnight leave-on treatment. It provides elasticity and acts as a protective barrier on the skin. I specifically love the scent of this one. It also acts as an aroma therapy when you go to bed.
And that's it! Now that I have a lot of free time, I make sure to do my skin care religiously. That's a lot better than waiting for these products to expire right? lol. Share some of your skin care tips and tricks below, happy to hear yours!
All photos are mine^^

DeleteI'm so lazy when it comes to skincare hahahuhu but Ryx Skincerity has helped me a lot with my acne. My favorite is their sunshield because it's water based. :)

DeleteHey thanks for sharing your skincare routine and also I love to see the cetaphil scrub up there as that's one my skincare product too. Rest as I have an oily and acne prone skin I have to be sure about the ingredients as am allergic and sensitive to most out there. I will try few from your list like the toner maybe. Letsee :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!💕 I've been using cetaphil since I was a teenager. It's recommended by my dermatologist esp for acne prone skin! Let me know how it goes😊
